Recently turned down for a job, how soon should I reapply?

I recently applied to a company where a buddy of mine works as a higher up. I went through a couple phone interviews and 5 video interviews.

Throughout the process my buddy was giving me positive feedback from the hiring team but at the end of the process they told me they were going with some other candidates that they wanted to go with at this time.

My friend got some more specific feedback and was told that the team had liked me a lot but apparently I came across as nervous or unsure in some of my answers and I had a tendency to use some filler words.

I really want to work for this and am willing to do anything I can to get the yes. The company is rapidly expanding so another opportunity is possible. My friend tells me I could try again in a month or two but I want to know if that is too soon?

Tl;Dr Applied to friend’s company and got turned down because of “nerves.” How soon is too soon to reapply?
