On a whim one night I ended up applying for a receptionist position and I got the call in the morning to go in for an interview, I accepted and went in the next day. The interview went great and it was really engaging, I was even told my resume stood out the most than the other applications. At the end, the manager wanted me to meet the owner for a 2nd interview, I got the call next day and we scheduled it for the next week. The 2nd interview went great, just the same as the 1st one, was told that my skills were what they were looking for. We even got personal and shared a few stories together, but in the end I got hit with the "we're interviewing a few more people and we'll be in touch soon." I asked if there was a specific timeframe, but he just said the manager had to coordinate with the other interviews that were scheduled. I walked out feeling a bit deflated, but I stayed positive nonetheless. The posting was also taken down the day after my 2nd interview and I just wanted to see if these were positive signs overall.
