Furthering my chances of obtaining this job 🤔

I’d like to state first that I’ve already went to the clothing store and handed the manager my resume. I’m planning on calling the store back next week, although I’m not completely sure on what to say that’ll increase my chances of getting the job.

I’m truly trying to get a chance at working this store though I’m not trying to seem like a nuisance. Even though I’m feening to work at this particular store.

What should I say? Should I call once every week to show that I actually would like to work there?

I’m seventeen years old just to point that out.
