Hey so I've always grinded trying to get a good job after college it took me about a year of working two rough but not career worthy jobs before I landed this one. I've been here for 10 months, great PTO and company days off, pay is eh( it's not the worst but I think below average for this position). We have been turning our business around this year and have been posting very positive numbers after years of decline. But we have had a lot of employee turnover. A scary amount with very little hiring to place back into the positions. My division has seen 4 people leave with about 20 left, not the worst. I've seen other departments have turnover with people who have only been here for a few months, much less time than I've been here. Should I be playing with the idea of leaving? Should I be demanding a raise? My department was 4 people when I came into it and half those people left. The job that was being done by 3 people is currently being done by me and my coworker. I don't see any pay raise coming my way nor did I think I was expected to ask for one when taking on more responsibility, but I don't feel job security right now and a higher level of risk. What should I think?
