Just left a really bad job - the place is falling apart and will probably go under in the near future. I left just as the layoffs began. Many other long time employees jumped ship around the same time I did. The company was involved in a lot of really bad practices, including some illegal ones (one of the main reasons I left).
I noticed today that they posted a listing for my old job. I don’t want to burn any bridges, but I REALLY want to post a review on Glassdoor.
I’m not looking to bash anyone or anything - I just know that the job/company is a chaotic wreck and the person who takes my old job will probably be laid off within the year anyways (another reason I left).
I feel others should have a heads up about what they’re getting themselves into, especially since it’s an entry level job. I took the job when I was fresh out of college and was a bit oblivious of the red flags. Id hate to see the same happen to someone else.
I know I’m being a “captain save a ho” and that I have a new job and shouldn’t care.
I’m an overthinker: Humor me.
Anyone else have experience with Glassdoor posts? Is this a bad idea?
