would working at a different branch of a corporation after getting fired be allowed?

I worked at a Modell’s Sporting Goods for about 9 months during my senior year of highschool (now a sophomore in college) until I was fired. I recently moved to a different borough (Brooklyn to Staten Island) and I’m pretty close to a different one.

If I apply will they have knowledge I was fired? Will they care? If it matters I wasn’t fired for anything like stealing or other crimes.
