Starting over

Any older individuals here trying to start completely over in their careers? Like, in a totally different industry? My fear is places will see roughly how old i am based on my resume. Im 44 by the way. Did 20+ yrs in hospitality and have a degree in hotel/rest mgt. I assume i will have to start at entry level and work my way up. Just wanted tips and insights on others experiences trying to start anew. I feel a bit anxious and overwhelmed. TIA.
