Question about new grads and job searching!

Hi,

I’ve applied to about 15 jobs so far. They vary from analyst, policy advisor, government relations, and labour relations. I have just got my MA (political science) and I have tons of academic excellence achievements. Basically I’m top heavy, the model academic intellect. However I have no relevant work experience as I worked odd jobs in the summers. Jobs I am applying for have a pay range from 50-100k and I feel like because they pay highly they won’t contact me? Do jobs that pay 70k+ typically not hire new grads? I mean I’m a bit frustrated that I don’t even warrant an interview request!
