I am a recently graduated student who finished his bachelors in mechanical engineering earlier this year, and have been actively looking for a stable job since. After months of trying, I landed an unpaid internship at a small core mechanical company. I've been coming here for a week and noticed I'm generally avoided and neglected and have even approached regular employees many times, to be told to visit the shop floor and observe the workings. This leaves me productive for an hour at max out of the 8 hours I'm here. I personally find this a waste, but then again so is sitting at home waiting for my next opportunity. Also,the office is really under kept and they're offering me only a day off, that to on a Friday and it takes me an hour and a half to get there. Any advice guys?
