I have accepted a position with one company, dream job, whole deal and I start in a couple weeks. I interviewed with a different company to get some other offers to look at, got the job... and had to do a background check pre-employment form before I see an offer.
My question is: Will the background check company call the HR company of the job I just accepted but haven't officially started with yet? If they do, is that a bad thing? I am student, so obviously I applied and interviewed with a variety of places... so I am not sure if this scenario is high unusual or not.
