Interview was on Monday, it was alright (wasn't a complete sucess nor fail) but my hopes were high up as I got all the telltale signs that I was a strong candidate (positive words from the technical manager, they were listenning and even finished some of my sentences to show agreement, they asked me if I had other interviews, HR spent half an hour selling me the company, salary talk, potential hire after internship, quick facilities tour ).
They told me I was actually the only candidate for the position I'm applying at; indeed, I applied extremely early for this internship (I'm looking for something in the summer and the original offer was for winter/spring) but they still wanted to interview me for summer internships that are to come.
They told me I would hear from them within the week, but I didn't, and tbh considering the situation (I'm the only candidate) I thought I would get a pretty quick answer. When should I ask for a follow up ?
