Before anyone says anything, I know the question is generic and has a ton of different variables, but I also have other questions:
I'm working on making the best cover letter I've ever written, because I'm applying to a job I really want. I know, a tale heard a thousand times. While searching for help though, I happened upon this template: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1chPkKy_0plpINcaUwSkbKYpNtqrKIckqcZ6TW6EUrz0
I already have all the experience they're asking for (and I know that doesn't always matter) but topping it off with the perfect cover letter would really help my nerves. I'm curious if this is worth using/risking to separate me from the competition, because every other generic work-shopped cover letter I've used I assume is never read since they never call me for an interview, so I'm looking to change things up.
Also two additional questions:

The listing states they require a bachelors degree for the position. I just have an associates degree in this field I'm unaware of their screening process, but because the application makes me state my education, do companies often filter out people that don't meet the requirements and skip their applications? :/

Should I reach out to other people working the same job at that company and ask what their interview experience was?
