I want to talk about this in just the context of the job and field. I don’t want to talk pay, benefits, etc, in this. I do know all those things matter, but for this, I don’t want to worry about it.
I currently have a job as an Engineer, but I’ve known I don’t want to stay in the technical field forever and I don’t really like the job. I recently got a job offer as a Project Manager and I feel this could be a way out into a more managerial area. The job/company itself isn’t something I see myself staying at forever, but I also see it as a potential springboard to get into a better company in a similar position.
Is this a dumb way of looking at things or is my way of thinking ok?
