I think I accidentally deleted my original post about this but here goes: I am currently in the interview process for a pretty big company. I was supposed to have my second interview on Wednesday but due to a family emergency, I had to reschedule.
As soon as I found out, which was Monday, I reached out to the recruiter about rescheduling and they obliged. They asked about my availability for the rest of the week and I had mentioned that Friday (today) would work best. I didn’t receive a confirmation email so I decided to follow up yesterday. Still nothing.
Was I ghosted or is this simply just a case of miscommunication? Did I wait too long to follow up? Should I wait to see what happens next week? I really like this job and think it would be a good fit but also don’t want to waste my time.
