Feeling overworked and underpaid, interviewing for same job in 2 days

So a little background: my wife and I both graduated with our BS in agriculture (concentrated on pre-veterinary medicine) this past May and started looking for jobs related to the veterinary field. I found (and got hired for) a job working at an exotic pet veterinary clinic which was perfect since exotic animals is what I thought I wanted to focus on for veterinary school. I probably should’ve noticed the red flags from the beginning, but I think I was blinded by the fact I got my first real job working in the “perfect field”. Fast forward to now and I’m doing all of the work of the receptionist, vet assistant, and even some vet technician stuff I probably am not even qualified for, all while working under a single veterinarian with no coworkers. Needless to say I’m feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work I have loaded on me every day and I’m only making $9/hr (she didn’t even tell me what I was making the first month I worked there and started me at $8/hr). Recently my wife’s coworker recommended me to a different clinic that claims they’ll pay me $12-13/hr and all I would have to do is the actual vet assistant work, so I have an interview with them on Tuesday and my chances of getting the job are sounding pretty good. My problem is I’ve pretty much decided I don’t want to be in the vet field anymore (vet school is way too expensive for the amount of time and energy that vets put in and still get paid crap) and working with exotics seems like it would be more useful for when I try to get my Master’s degree later for wildlife biology or zoology. However, the pay will be so much better than I’m getting now and I probably won’t be as exhausted since I would just focus on vet assistant work and have coworkers to help me (this new clinic has 4 vets and 17 other workers by the way). What do you guys think I should do: stay for the experience at the exotic clinic or go for the better pay and work schedule at the other clinic? Thanks in advance for any suggestions I get!

Tl;dr: Two choices: either make $9/hr doing the equivalent of 3 jobs while earning good hands on experience or make $12-13/hr focusing on one position with less future-career focused experience?
