Applied for a job, missed the email for preliminary interview by 3-4 months. Reply and ask for another chance or reapply?

Hello r/jobs! I have been a long-time non-member lurker and first time poster.

I've recently found myself in a pickle. Last year I applied to a remote position at a company I would have really loved to be a part of. As a student, the position allowed me to work part-time from home so it was perfect for me during my studies.

After submitting my resume, I didn't hear from them so I thought I didn't qualify for the position. Cue 6 months later, the recruiter replies if I am still interested in the job. I missed this email as I was planning a relocation to a new area at the time and wasn't able to respond until a few weeks after the email-- to which they said the position was still available. YAY!

However, relocation + studies made me busy and I completely forgot to check the replies until recently and they basically replied a few days after my own response. i didn't notice it until a few days ago-- which has then been 3ish months since.

OOPS. Anxiety ensues. Oh my god. Will prayer help? I basically admit to a fault for getting too busy with other life things.

So this is where I am now. In love with this company who took a long time to broach a possible interview, missed their reply email and am now as lost as my reddit username. I really would have loved to work for this company so what would be the right thing to do? Do I reply (and if so, how do I possibly explain this?) or do I just reapply?

A few more post scrip details: the company is related to travel, the job is fairly akin to customer service but I really love the company mission and vision. I also looked up other application-flaired posts and did not find any recent ones that fit my situation, but if this breaks the rules or has been addressed before, I would gladly look to that post or would understand if I have violated the rules.
