Hi guys!
So I have worked in the Payday/ Title loan industry for 5 years now for the same company. I'm now pushing a year as a Assistant Manager. I have great coworkers, terrible hours, and rotating weekends.
However...
The Past two years have shown a substantial decrease in business even at this time of year ( and yes I know what people say about payday loans) . Other stores have closed shop or relocated. At this rate I'm not too sure what will happen (if anything) if this trend keeps up. Its been a while since I have looked for a job. This one I was invited to apply by the store manager (I managed a restaurant next door) .
So my question is what kind of careers/jobs would I be able to seek with a background in loans and check cashing?
Also I do not have a degree, I'm working on associates in network administration.
The banks here offer $11 starting, currently I sit at $13.71
Any ideas will help!
