I work full time 5-6 days/wk at an auto parts store. My schedule is different every week and very inconsistent... Sometimes I work 7-4, sometimes 9-6, sometimes 12:30-9:30, and my days off each week are different. Plus I don't really know my schedule far in advance, like I usually don't know until Friday or Saturday what my schedule is for Sunday and the rest of the next week.
Besides the fact that my schedule absolutely sucks and I have no social life due to it, I need money to make up for my bad financial decisions in the past (credit card debt) and am interested in a second job. I occasionally build small business website for clients but I am depressed and have a hard time getting motivated, which is why I'm looking for a "real" second job because when I'm at work I have no problem doing what I need to do.
Anyway, I did Uber for a bit but driving around strangers in my personal car for minimum wage or worse after expenses just isn't a smart long-term financial decision. I might get back to it but I'd rather look for an alternative.
Looking for suggestions... Like I said I know about cars, basic repairs, routine maintenance, some basic diagnostics, etc. Previously I worked as technician and customer service/sales at a computer repair shop for several years so I'm good with computers. Also I can build websites using WordPress or do simple to medium complexity PHP development.
