Hello, so I applied for a job through an agency, however they seem to have hit a roadblock as far as references are concerned. Originally, my CV has it planned such that my previous experience in working with a law firm for over 6 years should be sufficient to give a reference/reply to anyone curious enough, however this agency seems to be unable to accept their reference, possibly because it is a CHARACTER reference rather than a typical reference.

The problem I am having is trying to meet their requirements for a character reference, I don't know a soul for over 5 years of working that can provide a good character reference as I am quite a quiet and reserved person and often shy away from things like facebook and linkedin, so at a bit of a roadblock myself in providing them an adequate answer.

So far i've listed my law firm experience to them, some friends, some of my mum's friends and my fellow hospital workers, so far I am thinking they will just reject them as well, i'm considering making up some email addresses borrowing my brother's and father's phones for the day and just fibbing about how great my character is but being the terrible liar I am, I would hope they see past that and might consider asking if they'll just accept trialing me out in the job and see if they think I would be a good character(?)/fit for their team.
I am 26 years old and trying to ask my teacher, dentist and doctor seems a bit childish and let alone the fact they don't really know me that greatly as a person I would put them down as references last.
Here are some additional quotes for the character reference requirements from the sheet I was provided, looking forward to working with them through the agency but it almost feels like it might be impossible, maybe someone knows an answer to it though, would be interested in seeing what is made of it all.
