I met a director last week and she has asked me to come in for an interview. The internship is for a event sponsorship assistant. I understand because they are a non profit, that they have unpaid internship, but I wonder if it's worth it. I'm studying business and it might be a good thing to have on my resume. I feel like the director really likes me too, so she might ask me stay for a permanent position if things work out. The thing is though, it's unpaid and a distance away, so I'll be basically paying to work through transportation. The + is that it's like semi part-time and part-time internships are really hard to come buy (I can't do fulltime rn because in school). What do you guys think? Should I do it? My parents are kind of opposed me working a payless job.
