So I applied for this job about a week ago and the recruiter called me back last Tuesday. Our talk went great, I think I fit the shoe pretty well, I start to get really excited about this opportunity, she tells me she'll talk to her HR boss and that she'll get back to me a few hours later to say whether or not they want me to come in for an interview.
As promised, a few hours later I have an email from her saying "congratulations! we want you to come in for an interview, when can you come?"
I replied that it's a little tricky since I'm employed at the moment (they knew this before), so I suggest around midday or end of day, asking her if she's available around that time.
I literally replied to her email within ten minutes of receiving it, last Tuesday. It's Thursday evening and I still haven't heard back from her. Could it be that they lost interest? Should I call back? Email them like "just to check if you got my last message"? What would you guys do?
