Looking for advice on choosing a realistic next step.

I left my previous job after I got my CompTIA A+ Certification thinking that I could finally get a job doing tech support but two months, hundreds of application and only a single interview later I'm running out of money and credit and I'm worried I was too ambitious. It is more than likely due to a lack of any sort of college degree and minimal relevant experience.

I've started looking for other options to pay the bills while I work on other certifications but I desperately don't want to go back to sales or food service. Can anyone give any recommendations for jobs that don't require a degree or experience or ideas on how I can get some help getting placed? I'd appreciate any advice, I'm getting very worried about rent.
