Job Interview tomorrow

Hey guys, I have an interview for the position of Graduate Student Ambassador at a university in the UK tomorrow I'm wondering if anyone has done something similar before and knows what to wear? I'm thinking a nice shirt, suit trousers and formal shoes? But I don't know whether a tie and suit is too much? And if anyone has any tips for how to come across as a good fit for it I'd be really grateful
