I have a Masters of Public Administration and started new job with tuition reimbursement. I want to keep pushing myself and my career. Second Masters worth it? Or maybe something else, like JD?
Hi all!
I recently started a job as a public policy analyst with a utility company that offers tuition reimbursement. I already have a Masters of Public Administration and a BA in History, both from the same college.
The company offers $7,500 each year (Jan 1 to Dec 31).
I would like to take advantage of this money while also preparing me for hopefully some type of management or executive role at the company. Is a second Masters, like an MBA, worth it? How about a PhD in Public Policy? Or even a JD? Or how about an undergrad degree is something other than history? Maybe a certificate program?
Given the amount of money and having a busy working schedule, what I do would have to be part time nights or weekends.
