Do you think the baby boomers went through this?

Things I've encountered being 30ish in todays job market.

It appears everybody has a degree. I mean everyone. It's not even worth bringing up during an interview anymore.

For one, 35k a year office job, there are like 500 people who apply for it. Everyone from age 18-75.

Fired / laid off at the drop of a hat.

Spam resumes on indeed, craigslist, company websites and not hear anything back.

Getting completely ghosted after taking 2 assessment tests and 3 interviews.

Trying to rent a bedroom on a substandard wage. (A bedroom, not the whole house).

Do we have it harder, or has life always been hard?
