Info: I'm in FL. Social Worker at a hospital. I make ~27.78. With overtime, I make 40.92, according to this overtime calculator (https://www.omnicalculator.com/finance/overtime). +2 an hour if it's on the weekend.
I have been offered a per diem job at another hospital, offering 33/hr. I have been picking up overtime pretty often, almost every week, averaging about 50ish hours a week.
Few coworkers have told me there's no point in picking up OT at our job here since we get taxed a lot. However, I have no way of how to go about finding this out. Would this be true? How would I know or find out?

Reddit! Does it make sense to take a per diem job if my job is willing to give me OT?
