I've been in the hiring process with a company which I've been referred to by my previous employer so the prospects were good enough. I've made two interviews so far and they gave me a lot of hopes about getting the job. Then after the second interview there was a silence of about week and a half, which I have to say was kinda normal because the whole process has been dragging for longer than normal.I tried to contact with them and just yesterday I received an email of the manager telling me she cannot tell me anything for sure because the company is in process of remodeling and opening new stores and the hiring process is slower than usual but that I was beyond qualified for the position, that she will push to have an answer by Monday.
Now it comes the odd part. In the very same email she proposed me to send a referral on my behalf to another company.
What am I supposed to make of this? Are they really interested in me or are they just telling me elegantly to move on?
