Quit Job a year ago and was not paid for last day, manager said not to worry about it

I’m not sure if it’s appropriate to reach out to an employer if I quit almost a year ago, but last year I gave a two week notice before quitting my job, and on my last day I was taken out of the system so I couldn’t check in or check out (meaning I wouldn’t be paid). I told my manager and she told me not to worry about it. When I got my last paycheck, it didn’t include the time I worked my last day. It didn’t bother me much at the time because I was just happy I was done, but someone recently told me I should do something about it so I would get the money I deserve. But I think it would be inappropriate considering I quit a year ago.
