If your company is trying to coerce you to do something you don't want to do, is it preferable to quit or wait until they fire you?
I hope my question makes sense. Put another way, your company tells you to do something and you say no, I won't. Do you quit? is getting fired "always" bad, or should you preferably quit to avoid having a firing on your record?
As a side note that may be relevant, I'm talking about getting fired through no fault of your own, not getting fired because of something like botching a project. I view drawing a line and not letting the company cross it as not being your fault (ethics, etc) even though you might get fired.
