Shortly after I graduated 6 years ago, I got a job on a two-year project.
2 yrs 2 months later, after completing the project, I joined a company where, while I enjoyed the job, the lack of hygiene was unbearable: I'm talking one toilet for 16 people that got cleaned once a week only, mold on curtains and walls, etc. Plus gradually, the work became too much for one person, they were giving me 2 different job responsibilities to handle. So after 10 months, I resigned, and when I left, they replaced me with 2 people.
2 months later, I then joined another company, and while there was no structure, I got the opportunity to try new things and put strategies in place. However, there were two CEOs in place, and one was just a stubborn person with no respect of others' time. He'd often call you for meetings, and you'd have to sit next to him while he browsed social media. Or spend energy doing jobs that he'd later tell you was unnecessary. And he was very unethical when it came to data privacy, e.g he was asking me to leave fake reviews on his app, write misleading ads, to take people's private info for remarketing etc.
So after 1 year and 10 months, when my salary remained stagnant, I got an offer somewhere else, with double the salary and new responsibilities. So I joined that new company shortly after.
Thing is, after only 6 months, I'm constantly exhausted and drained due to the load of work and pressure to deliver. I start at 8am and finish 12 hours later 4 days out of five. The bosses keep on taking projects when there's no energy to dedicate to them. My Manager keeps telling me this has been the worst year she's seen in terms of workload, since being at the company for 7 years. I am starting to think of moving, but I am very worried about how it'd look on my CV...
My brain tells me to survive for 18+ more months, but my body feels like giving up.
