What is it like going from phone customer service to digital customer service

I currently work as a phone customer service rep and I have a job interview on Monday that may significantly more the digital customer service replying to emails, SMS, social media etc. If anyone else has made this transition could you tell me what it was like for you I know this will be varied from company to company but I'm just interested in what to expect.
