For those unaware, I live and work in CO, which is an employment at will state. This is defined as: “Colorado follows the legal doctrine of "employment-at-will" which provides that in the absence of a contract to the contrary, neither an employer nor an employee is required to give notice or advance notice of termination or resignation.”
Every job I have ever had I have put in a two weeks notice. At this current job, people quit all the time(it’s getting toxic) and I will just come in and all of their stuff is gone.
If I put in a two weeks notice at this job, one of two things will happen. A.) I will be asked to just leave anyways and not worry about the notice B.) be treated very snarkily by my coworkers and management.
My question is, how do I effectively quit in the most professional way possible?
For those wondering, I have another job lined up already.
