We're all replaceable, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Have you found your place, or the ever-elusive "dream" job?

So I finally came to a place mentally where I care about the company I work for as much as they care for me; a little in the moment, but ultimately replaceable. As a natural-born try-hard, this took a lot of time, struggle and betrayal, but I got here. I'm prioritizing people and experiences now, which really puts the time I've got left into perspective (as much or as little as there is). And tbh it's really freeing. I feel like I took a breath of fresh air after being under water for years.

The thing is, that's not how companies and a lot of other people in society tell me I should live. Honestly, I could leave the industry I've worked in for years behind and not care, as long as I do something that helps me maintain supporting myself, because I just need the money and time off to do all the things I want to do. I could chase after my "dream" job, but I have no idea what that is, I just know what I've been good at so far...

Just putting this out there to see if anyone else is in the same boat or has found their way to shore and can share their experience.
