Job Interview on Wednesday for a small CPA firm.. Job role is called Staff Accountant
Currently a Staff accountant at a private accounting company where Im basically doing bookkeeping 90 percent of the time..
Before we scheduled an interview , he asked me about what salalry I wanted and I didnt expect me to ask me that..
I told him how much i was currently making at my place and how it was $19 an hour.
But if u turn that into annual, thats less than 40k..
Wednesday when he asks me about salary, Im expecting to say 45-50k , but IDK if I should addd this when i tell him because now he knows how much I make at my current place..
Should I lie and say, "Before this interivew i spoke to my boss about looking this interview i had and there a chance i may leave now, etc etc, and that My boss said he will give me a "raise" for 52k if i stay"
is this something okay to do? or somethign similiar?
