I used to work in retail for years. Worked my way up from kid stocking shelves to running my own store. One of my main responsibilities was to find and interview prospective employees and complete their hiring and onboarding process.
I work in government now but have been wanting to work for a private company in recruiting as I enjoyed that field and enjoyed being an interviewer. Got a Bachelors in Sociology and interviewed quite a number of people for qualitative studies in college.
Seems I’ve been denied for every recruiter position I’ve applied for. Entry level or not. Human Resources assistant positions. Human Resources in general. Junior “Talent Acquisition”. I just want to break into this field without having to work at some high turnover recruiting agency. No offense to anybody working at an agency but I want a stable position with a private company.
