About "Total Hours Available"

On the Subway application there's a section where you put total number of your hours available. I'm looking for a Summer job and is applying part time to there although I'm free on most days? After calculating I'm available for 70 hours. My question is whether or not putting 70 hours available would affect anything related to shifts other than when they would be scheduled later on?
