Is it better to tell a toxic workplace you are leading because you don't like it there or not burn bridges by just saying something general?
Really really trying to leave my toxic workplace and been applying for heaps of other jobs, hope one comes through.
This workplace asks people who are leaving why they are leaving as part of the process, and has a voluntary review process where you can say everything you thought about the job and why you left.
I know you shouldn't burn bridges and all that so when leaving a toxic workplace precisely because of its toxic nature, should you be blunt with them and say "i was not happy with the way you run this company and would prefer to be elsewhere" and then go into detail or just give them some waffly line about how "I enjoyed my time here but I feel it is time to move on and pursue other opportunities, all the best."? Help!
