What can I expect from a background check?

I recently got a job offer for a pretty high salary & commission tech sales role. In the job advertisement and throughout the interview process ( which was multiple rounds of interviews and "homework") education was never brought up. On my resume it does state me attending college certain years for a completely unrelated degree - all information is true, I just never finished my degree requirements.

I do believe I'm qualified for this role and have relevant experience, but I guess I'm just feeling a little unsure & insecure since this is traditionally a role that requires a degree and the compensation is quite high. Is this something they will care about in the background check?
