So I keep hearing radio ads about how good they are for companies. That "they find qualified applications" for them. I thought as a job seeker this would be good to put my name out there. I'm looking to transition from a successful business telecom senior sales role to something in a sales engineering or customer success after finishing my MBA.
So if you don't know how Ziprecruiter works you have a name of a job you'd like and they give you recommendations. First off, all the recommendations are crap and have nothing to do with what I want, or have searched for. They are just spamming me with crap a total 66 times in less than 30 days. I've had no one reach out directly for a job or even a suggestion to apply directly.
The kicker was today. They give you a rating of "great match" "good" or "fair" the last one is "not a match". I looked at dozens of job recommendations (none of which I've asked to see). Nearly all of them had "not a match" and it was my role (Senior Account Executive, or Account Executive). Funniest one, my the exact job I have right now, role title everything "not a match".
