I finished my college degree (bio) 2 years ago. I've been in my current, fulltime job for 2 years. I worked my way up from entry level bottom of the totem pole to an assistant management position with a couple raises along the way and now a fair amount of responsibility. All of my previous jobs were just part time student jobs in college and high school. Kitchen/foodservice work in college, summer camp counselor/lifeguard in highschool and summers. These don't seem relevant to what most employers in my field would need to know about me, especially since they were a few years ago now.
So when editing my resume, is it better to kick off some of those old jobs to make room for more detail about my current position and responsibilities, even though that means there will be just a couple jobs included on the page? That seems more relevant and "adult" than keeping summer gigs lifeguarding and part time kitchen work from a couple years ago on there just because that's all I had when I was a student.
