Got an offer for a completely remote job, but they want a lot of personal info. Is this normal?

(CANADA)

I sent this company my resume on Indeed. They called me at first (no caller ID) and I talked to the recruiter(?) for a good 10 minutes. It was a sudden call interview, they didn’t contact me before. Then they informed me that they sent an email with all the information.

They want me to reply with this:

2 Government ID’s (Hospital card and driver’s license)

My SIN card with my name on it

A void check

4 signed documents that they sent me

Now, I was a bit intrigued, but what tipped me off is the fact that the email ends with them telling me that I only have 24 hours to answer.

Any thoughts on this? Am I being paranoid? If I was getting scammed, this would be insanely bad for me.

Thank you and have a good day!

Edit: Just wanted to add that Indeed seems to contain a lot of fraudulent job postings these days. Recently got offered one that payed 55k part-time and “only” needed me to buy cryptocurrency for people and then the company would refund me.
