I started working at a Real Estate Management company about 1 year ago. I work in the on site office. My boss just got a new job and told me that the place I work at will not be breaking even in 2 years due to the board not wanting to raise rent and mismanagement of previous management. I don’t expect to get laid off (I’m an essential worker/receptionist/administrative assistant) but want to be prepared just in case. I want to continue at this place until the pandemic is over since it’s unlikely to go under (it’s a coop/condoop) but I don’t see myself working there afterwards. I am also finishing up my college degree.
Should I continue at my current place and wait until the pandemic is over (they’re projecting a couple of more years) or leave sooner than that?
