I have been laid off from my job last May 2020 at the peak of the pandemic. I was at one year mark from my graduation and in the process to settle down. Now fast forward, I lost everything and I had a break up with my long-term partner last November. I want to vent about the specific job I have applied for last month. I cleared all four rounds of interviews over the span of three weeks (Software Engineering) and the recruiter told me all the feedback are positive and that's why I proceeded to the last round! at the last round, I also cleared the software problems the hiring manager presented and he was telling me so many signs that he is gonna hire me ! like (you are perfect for the role we want ....etc) .
Guess what?
The recruiter came back to me saying that all the feedbacks again are positive but the hiring manager decided to move forward with someone who has more years of experience than I am !!! WTF is that...seriously WTF, If he knows he wants the X years of experience, why did not he fuckin tell me from the beginning and cut me off from the recruiter's first interview !!! I feeling so bad and frustrated and I do not know what to do....It is hard !!!
