Anyone gone through the Lowe's hiring process? Details -- email, drug test, background check, another email...
Has anyone gone through the Lowe's hiring process? They were hiring for seasonal workers, and we could really use it in our household. I was invited for open interviews, and then received an email to come in for a scheduled interview.
I showed up for the scheduled interview and it was all very informal, and impersonal. There were five booths, everyone had an associate behind it asking questions, they wrote down my answers, then drug tested me. They sent that off, then I got an email for my background check. It said eligible under all three tabs and that they couldn't find a record of a reported misdemeanor (I lied to cops at a house party at 19... so 12-13 years ago and reported that under voluntary reporting) and went on to say record judged and eligible. Of course, it was expunged, but the app made it sound like you included those. No biggie. I've had jobs and if it doesn't say to include expungement, I don't. If it isn't specific, I do per lawyer.
I got an email welcoming me and telling me that first my background and drug test would be done, then I'd hear back in a week.
If they go through all of this, are they typically hiring you? I have another interview tomorrow that I plan on going to as well because we're nearing into "any job is better than none job" territory.
