I had to accept a job offer (that I regret applying to) because I'd lose unemployment if I denied it. How the heck am I supposed to get a new job WHILE working under these rules?

The hours are 9 to 5, so very standard.

But what's not standard is that lunches are to be eaten at your desk while you work. No true "breaks".

There's no designated parking and because the business is in a downtown area, every employee must get up to move their car every 3 hours.

That stretch of time where you're moving your car is your "break".

Apparently health insurance is 100 percent covered, but some of the reviews say it's a lie and that the option to enroll was never given. I have no idea what to believe here...

There is no sick leave and there are no personal days. All you have is 10 vacation days after a year, but there are "long vacation" days that you are encouraged to take, so it would be 3 days at a time (2 weeks worth). So pretty much, if I have to take off during my first year, I have to take 3 days off at a time.

I'm worried this job is going to really suck, and I'm also worried I won't be able to find time to interview - what with the lack of sick days and breaks and everything.

I'm lucky enough to be able to move back in with my parents and have mid 5-figures saved up with no debt. However, I want to get back in the working world as soon as I can so I can have some reliable money coming in.

At the same time - if this job sucks so much and I struggle to find time to interview...that is also a problem.

I can pretty much only interview right at 8 AM...which would probably also mean being late for work. And I can interview at like 5:40 pm...but what interviewer would agree to such a late meeting if there are 200 other equally qualified applicants?

Plus, having a short stint like this on my resume could be a turnoff.

TLDR - I don't trust my new job to be a good place to work. There are no sick days, legitimate breaks and no vacation for a year. How the heck am I supposed to interview for other roles?
