Currently trying to relocate from Illinois to Arizona but am waiting until I have a job lined up to move. What should I put for my address on applications that ask for it?

So I’m currently and IT Systems Technician with a few years experience and I’m looking to move from Illinois to the Phoenix AZ area in search of new opportunities both professionally and personally. One thing I’m struggling with is whether or not I should be putting my current Illinois address on my applications or should I put an Arizona address? I don’t want to get passed over simply for being out of state but I also don’t want to imply that I’m not currently living in Arizona, what would be the best approach in your opinion?
