I've reached my FIRE (retirement) #. Job is extremely easy (7-10 hours per week) and work from home. But my dream is to be a nomad and travel the world. How do I convince my employer?
I work for a USA bank from home.
I'm able to retire...but I finish my weekly work in 7-10 hours and is no stress.
I would like to try working from different countries but bureaucracy in a bank most likely wouldn't approve it.
Should I just take the work laptop with me and try it?
Should I present the request to management, if so what's the best way? As an ultimatum? "Hi boss, I want to retire...but I'd be happy to continue working from abroad if allowed."?
