I messed up an application for my dream job

I found my dream job, its a social impact job that i've been searching for more than 3 years. I saw the posting about it a week after it was posted, and already 200+ applications so I panicked, wrote a cover letter and customised my CV, proofread it twice and then sent it in quite hastily.

Looked back at it after hitting send and realised i'd left the placeholder in for my email address on the cover letter template: [example@xyz.com](mailto:example@xyz.com) is literally what I left there. Also found a typo spelling mistake. HOW DID I NOT NOTICE BEFORE.

I'm kind of devastated.
