I'm trying to find a job ASAP, and so I am applying to any job I'm qualified for (in my field, so far) without knowing anything about the company. I now have an interview comping up for a large consulting firm job, which I'm not excited about, but I want to be a strong candidate. I expect they'll ask something like "what makes you a good fit for this company?" and expect me to say something about their work culture.
I'm looking online but the only information I can find so far are the company's own PR for their investors and reviews on job sites, which are known to be unreliable. I haven't had any luck messaging employees on LinkedIn. The only email addresses I can find on their website are for customers. When I was applying for my current job (which is ending soon) I found that the CEO had a blog on LinkedIn, which gave me a feel for his style.
Any suggestions? I can always say something about my work ethic and dedication to client satisfaction, but every applicant will say that. I want to sound like I've done my research.
Thanks in advance and best wishes in 2021!!
