Hey guys,
A few years back I scored myself a drug felony but now I have a bachelors in cell and molecular biology. The two do not coincide very well as many of the jobs I can do also require the use of chemicals and such that a drug felony makes questionable.
I recently was rejected from a job which I had completed the on boarding process, but state law prohibited me from working for them. (Florida)
I am thinking of looking for biology lab positions in another state where I would not run into such a barrier.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I am a hard working and intelligent individual with a charge that was in many ways totally unwarranted.
I want to work in a bio lab and climb the ladder to be the best scientist that I can be. I have no problems starting from the bottom, I simply need my foot in the door.
